Russet Hill House is on 106 acres with a variety of habitats for birds and wildlife. You will be able to walk through cedar forests, meadows, marshlands, deciduous and pine forests, old farm site with  historic apple groves, creeks and hedgerows with ancient maples and stone fence lines. The terrain moves from highland vistas, through winding ravines and gently rolling hills. Viewing decks and benches offer places to pause and enjoy  a grand view of the Queen’s Bush Valley and inland lakes.

Bognor Marsh with a boardwalk is about 10 minutes away.

As well, the road sections along the Bighead River drainage are within a 5 minute drive will delight birders.
